“Whether I paint representational or pure abstract, there’s always a bit of transformative energy in the work, a sense of movement or flow. Even though I drag the paint across the canvas, the paint will stay where it wants to yet letting go in places only to transform the layers into nuances that evolve through the motion to always yield a surprise in the end. A bit like life.”
